The weather in Seville in November is mild and changeable. Many days are sunny and warm enough for lunch on a terrace in a light jacket, while others bring Atlantic rain, sometimes for two or three days in a row. Early November can still feel like October; by the end of the month, evenings are cold enough for a proper coat.
It gets dark early, before 18:30, so start your day in good time and keep the evening for tapas, a flamenco show or a concert.

All Saints’ Day (1 November)
All Saints’ Day is a public holiday. Families visit cemeteries and bring flowers, and bakeries sell seasonal sweets such as huesos de santo, small marzipan rolls with a sweet filling. Some monuments keep holiday hours.
Seville European Film Festival
The Seville European Film Festival is usually held in November, with a week of European films in cinemas and theatres across the city. The programme is published in the autumn.
Chestnuts and the first cold evenings
As evenings cool, stalls selling roast chestnuts appear in the streets of the centre. It is also the start of the olive harvest in Andalusia, and a good season for tasting the new olive oil in restaurants and shops.
Christmas begins

Theatre and football
The concert, opera and theatre season is in full swing, and so is the football season of Sevilla FC and Real Betis.
Crowds and hotel prices
After October, the crowds thin out, especially in mid-November. The Alcázar, the cathedral and the Plaza de España are much calmer, although it is still wise to book the Alcázar a day or two ahead. The Alcázar is on its winter hours, closing at 17:00.
Hotel prices are mid-season, lower than in October, with deals in the second half of the month. A double in a good central hotel usually costs somewhere between the winter rate (around €90–150) and the October rate (around €130–250), and more at weekends.
