Buy on the official website, alcazarsevilla.org. It is the cheapest option, you choose a 30-minute entry slot, and the ticket goes to your phone.

Resellers sell the same entry at a higher price when they add a guide, an audio guide or a time slot the official site has sold out. That is worth paying for if you get a real guide. It is not worth paying extra for the entry ticket alone.
Free entry
- Mondays, last hour: 18:00–19:00 from April to September and 16:00–17:00 from October to March. Book the free ticket on the official website; the slots are released a few days to a few weeks ahead and are usually gone within hours.
- Always free: children under 16, residents registered in Seville, people with disabilities and one companion, with documents.
One hour is not enough to see the whole palace. If this is your only visit, pay for a normal slot.
Sold out? What to do
- Check the official site again the day before and in the morning. Cancellations free up slots.
- Try late afternoon slots. They sell out last.
- Book a guided tour. Tour companies buy group slots in advance, so they often have space when the official site shows no availability. See the guided tour and the Alcázar and cathedral combo.
- Ask your hotel. Some hotels can help with bookings or recommend a guide.
How to book on the official website
- Go to alcazarsevilla.org and choose Buy tickets (Venta de entradas).
- Pick General visit (Visita general), then the date and a 30-minute entry slot.
- Add the number of tickets per type. Reduced and free tickets need ID at the entrance.
- Add the audio guide or the Cuarto Real Alto if you want them.
- Pay by card. The PDF ticket arrives by email; you can show it on your phone.
Arrive 10–15 minutes before your slot at the Puerta del León (Plaza del Triunfo). The line for ticket holders is separate from the ticket office queue.
Scams to avoid
- Look-alike websites. Search ads sometimes lead to resellers dressed up as the official site, charging double for a plain entry ticket. The official domain is alcazarsevilla.org.
- “Skip the line” tickets that don’t include a guide. Every timed ticket already skips the ticket office. Pay extra only for a guide or an audio guide you want.
- Rosemary sellers in Plaza del Triunfo and around the cathedral hand you a sprig “as a gift” and then ask for money. Say no and keep walking.
