Step by step
EA airport bus
- Walk out of arrivals. The bus stop is right outside the terminal.
- Pay the driver with a contactless bank card or cash (small notes).
- Main stops: Santa Justa train station, San Bernardo, Prado de San Sebastián (for Santa Cruz and the university), Puerta de Jerez area, and the Plaza de Armas bus station (for the Centro and Triana).
- Get off at the stop closest to your hotel and walk.
Buses run from early morning to about 1:00, every 20–25 minutes (less often early, late and on Sundays). The same bus takes you back to the airport from any of these stops.
Taxi
The taxi rank is directly outside arrivals. Taxis from the airport to the historic centre charge a fixed fare set by the city, which covers up to four passengers and luggage. The fare is higher at night, at weekends, on public holidays and during Semana Santa and the Feria. Ask the driver to confirm the fixed fare before you set off. Cards are usually accepted.
Uber, Cabify and Bolt
Ride-hailing apps work at Seville airport, with a pick-up area in the car park. Prices can be lower than a taxi at quiet times and higher at busy times.
Private transfer
A driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign and takes you to your hotel’s door, which helps if your hotel is on a pedestrian lane in Santa Cruz. It costs more than a taxi but the price is fixed when you book. Book a private transfer.
Arriving at your hotel
Much of the historic centre is pedestrian or closed to traffic, especially Santa Cruz. Taxis stop as close as they can, which may be a 2–5 minute walk from the door. Send your hotel address to the driver on your phone, and check with the hotel where cars can drop you.
