Who we are
Andalusia Base is an independent travel guide to Seville and the rest of Andalusia. We write practical, up-to-date guides for people planning a trip: where to stay, what to see, how to book the big sights, and how to get around. Every guide is published in English, Italian and French, with Spanish, German and Dutch to follow.
Andalusia Base is written and maintained by a small team of writers and editors who travel in Andalusia. Each guide is researched from official sources, reviewed before publication and updated when prices, opening hours or rules change.
What makes our guides different
- We start with the answer. Every guide answers the question you searched for in the first paragraph, then goes into detail.
- Official options first. For monuments like the Real Alcázar, we explain how to buy the official ticket before any tour or reseller.
- We check the facts. Prices, opening hours and dates change. Each guide shows when it was last checked, and we update the most visited guides every season.
- We are independent. Hotels, tour operators and venues can’t pay to appear in our guides.
