How much does a trip to Andalusia cost? It depends on when you go, where you sleep and how many sights you pay for. Choose your travel style and dates, tick what you want to see, and the calculator gives you a total, a cost per person and per day, and a typical range. Every price in it is one we list in our guides.

Assumptions you can change

Not included: flights, fuel and tolls, travel insurance, shopping and gifts, tips. Prices are per adult; children's tickets and rooms are usually cheaper.

How the calculator works

  • Hotel, food and local transport come from the daily budget table in our Seville city-break guide: per person per day, sharing a double room, in spring. A solo traveller pays a whole room.
  • The month changes the hotel price. July and August and December to February are cheaper than spring and autumn. Tick the Semana Santa and Feria box and hotel prices are multiplied by 2.5, because they double or triple in those weeks.
  • Sights use the ticket price in each guide, for one adult ticket. Child and reduced tickets are usually cheaper.
  • A hire car costs about €25 a day in winter and €65 a day from March to October, for one car for up to four people, plus about €25 a night for parking in a city centre. See car hire in Andalusia.
  • Trains and buses between cities use an average price you can change under “Assumptions”.

Daily budget by travel style

Per person per day, sharing a double room, in spring. These are the figures behind the calculator.

Budget Mid-range Comfortable
Hotel (half a double room) €40–60 €75–125 €175 and up
Food and drink €30–40 €50–70 €100 and up
Local transport €0–5 €5–10 €10–30

For the “Comfortable” style the guide gives only a starting price, so the top of the range in the calculator is our assumption.

How to spend less

  • Have the menú del día at lunch on weekdays, the cheapest way to eat a full meal.
  • Travel in winter or in July and August for lower hotel prices, or avoid Semana Santa and the Feria.
  • Use the free sights: see free things to do in Seville.
  • Book the Alhambra early, because the cheaper tickets sell out: see the Alhambra ticket guide.
  • Compare the real prices of your dates with the best time to visit Andalusia.

FAQ

How much does a trip to Andalusia cost?

On our figures, a day costs about €100–130 per person on a budget, €170–250 mid-range and €350 or more in comfort, including the hotel, food, local transport and a few sights. Use the calculator for your own dates, then add flights.

Are flights included?

No. The calculator covers the trip once you are in Andalusia: hotel, food, local transport, sights, trains and buses, and a hire car. Flights, fuel and tolls, insurance and shopping are not included.

How accurate is it?

The prices are the ones in our guides, and we check them regularly, but real costs vary with the hotel, the date and how much you eat out. Treat the result as a planning estimate and the range as the likely spread.

What does the Semana Santa and Feria box do?

Hotel prices double or triple in Holy Week and during the Feria de Abril, so the box multiplies the hotel cost by 2.5. See Holy Week in Seville.

Does the calculator store my data?

Only if you leave the box ticked, and only anonymously: the settings you chose and the result, the day and the country. We store no name, email address or IP address. We use the answers to publish figures such as what visitors plan to spend. See our privacy policy.

How does it compare with what visitors really spend?

The Junta de Andalucía reports that tourists spent about €87 per person per day on average in Andalucía in 2025. See our Andalusia tourism statistics for the figure and its source.
