How we chose
We only list hotels in or near Córdoba’s old town, so you can walk to the Mezquita, plus a few with parking for drivers. Every hotel has a guest rating of at least 8.5 out of 10 on Booking.com, a character building, an outstanding location or a particularly good price, and a consistent record in recent reviews. Because Córdoba is so hot in summer, we note which hotels have a pool. Hotels pay nothing to appear here. We earn a commission if you book through our links, which never changes the price you pay. The hotels
Luxury
Hospes Palacio del Bailío (north of the centre). A palace built between the 16th and 18th centuries over a Roman house, whose remains you can see under a glass floor. Frescoes, patios, an outdoor pool and a spa with Roman-style baths underground. In our view, the quietest luxury choice, 15–20 minutes’ walk from the Mezquita.
Check pricesNH Collection Palacio de Córdoba (Judería). Two 18th-century mansions joined around a Mudéjar patio, on Plaza de Maimónides in the heart of the old Jewish quarter, reopened in 2026 as a five-star hotel. An outdoor pool in one of the patios, and the Mezquita is five minutes away.
Check pricesLas Casas de la Judería (Judería, near San Basilio). Several old houses linked by patios, fountains and orange trees, with a pool and a rooftop terrace. It feels like a small village inside the city.
Check pricesEurostars Palace (Jardines de la Victoria). A large, modern five-star hotel on the Paseo de la Victoria, with a seasonal rooftop pool and underground parking. Less charm than the old town, but we think it is practical if you drive or arrive by train.
Check pricesBoutique and mid-range
Hotel Balcón de Córdoba (Judería). A small, stylish hotel in a 400-year-old house with three patios, 20 m from the Mezquita, with archaeological finds on display and a roof terrace looking at the bell tower. We think it is hard to beat for location.
Check pricesEurostars Conquistador (Judería). Right opposite the Mezquita’s east wall, with a patio and some rooms looking at the monument.
Check pricesHotel Viento 10 (Santiago, near the Potro). A small boutique hotel with seven rooms in a restored 16th-century house in the quieter east of the old town, with a roof terrace and a small saltwater pool. About 12 minutes’ walk from the Mezquita. We think it is good value for the style.
Check pricesHotel Córdoba Center (by the station). A modern hotel next to the station, with a seasonal rooftop pool and views over the city. Our pick for a short stop on a train trip.
Check pricesParador de Córdoba (La Arruzafa, 3–4 km north). A modern parador in large gardens, with a pool, tennis courts and free parking. Quiet and green, but you will need a car or taxi to reach the old town.
Check pricesBudget
Hotel Casa Museo de la Mezquita (Judería, Plaza Santa Catalina). An old house with a patio and simple, traditional rooms, right in front of the Mezquita. It used to be called Hotel Mezquita. We don’t think you’ll find a better address for the price.
Check pricesHotel Casa de los Azulejos (centre). A colourful house with a leafy, tiled patio and rooms mixing Andalusian and Latin American styles, between the Potro and Plaza de las Tendillas.
Check pricesHotel Marisa (Judería). A simple, good-value hotel facing the north wall of the Mezquita, by the Patio de los Naranjos.
Check pricesHotel Maestre (Plaza del Potro). Clean, simple and very good value, near the river and the Roman bridge.

Booking tips
- We’d book early for May. The Cruces de Mayo, the Festival de los Patios and the Feria fill the old town for most of the month. We suggest booking two or three months ahead.
- We think a pool matters from June to September. Afternoons are often above 40°C. Among our picks, the Hospes, NH Palacio, Las Casas de la Judería, Eurostars Palace, Córdoba Center and the Parador have pools, and Viento 10 has a small one. Rooftop pools are seasonal: check they are open on your dates.
- Driving? Most of the Judería is closed to cars. Ask your hotel how to reach it and where to park, or choose a hotel with parking near the Jardines de la Victoria.
- We’d choose free cancellation, then check the price again a few weeks before your trip.
- We’d stay for the early Mezquita entry. From Monday to Saturday, a short free visit opens the day. A hotel in the Judería puts you at the gate in minutes.

How much does a hotel in Córdoba cost?
In the old town, expect about €60–100 for a simple double, €100–200 for a good mid-range hotel and €200 or more for luxury in spring. May is the most expensive month; July, August and winter are the cheapest.
Are there hotels with a view of the Mezquita?
Yes. Several hotels in the Judería face the Mezquita or look at its bell tower from a roof terrace, including the Balcón de Córdoba, the Eurostars Conquistador, the Casa Museo de la Mezquita and the Hotel Marisa. We’d ask for a room with a view when you book, as most rooms don’t have one.
