How we chose
We list hotels in Cádiz’s old town, where you can walk to everything, and near Playa de la Victoria for a beach stay. Every hotel has a guest rating of at least 8.5 out of 10 on Booking.com, a character building, an outstanding location or a particularly good price, and a consistent record in recent reviews. Hotels pay nothing to appear here. We earn a commission if you book through our links, which never changes the price you pay. See our editorial policy.

Booking tips
- Carnival sells out months ahead. In 2027 it runs from Thursday 4 to Sunday 14 February, with the big weekend on 6–7 February. We’d book in the autumn, or stay in Jerez or Seville and come by train.
- We’d book early for July and August, especially on Playa de la Victoria, where Spanish families book their summer holidays well in advance.
- Old town or beach? We’d choose the old town for a short stay and sightseeing, the beach for a longer summer stay. See where to stay in Cádiz.
- Driving? Old-town hotels rarely have their own parking. We’d budget for an underground car park, such as Canalejas by the port, or choose Hotel Monte Puertatierra or a hotel on the beach.
- Want a pool? Among our picks, only the Parador has one. On Playa de la Victoria, filter the search for a pool, and check that it is open on your dates.
- We’d choose free cancellation, then check the price again a few weeks before your trip.
