- Residents of Seville and children under 14 enter free.
- Free slot: the cathedral releases a limited number of free places at set times (typically one afternoon a week), bookable only online, with a small booking fee. They go quickly.
- Mass: attending mass is free, but you can’t visit the cathedral during services.
Sold out? What to do
The cathedral rarely sells out completely, but time slots in spring can fill up for a few hours:
- Pick a later slot the same day, or come at opening time.
- Book a guided tour. Guides have their own group slots.
- Queue at the ticket office. The queue moves faster than at the Alcázar, usually 15 to 45 minutes.

- Go to catedraldesevilla.es and choose Tickets (Entradas).
- Select General visit, then the date and time.
- Choose ticket types and add the audio guide if you want it.
- Pay by card and keep the email with the ticket on your phone.
Enter through the Puerta de San Cristóbal, on the south side facing the Archivo de Indias.
Scams to avoid
- Buy only from the official website or a well-known tour company. Look-alike sites charge more for the same ticket.
- Politely refuse the rosemary sellers at the cathedral doors: the “gift” is followed by a demand for money.
